More about this book

Story

Katniss Everdeen returns home after winning the Hunger Games, but victory brings no peace. Public pressure, personal trauma, and the Capitol’s threats force her to navigate a fragile life in District 12 while maintaining a convincing public romance.

As unrest spreads across the districts, Katniss becomes an unwilling symbol of resistance. The Capitol responds by tightening control, and the upcoming Quarter Quell turns the next Hunger Games into an even crueler spectacle involving past victors.

Katniss is drawn back toward the arena, where shifting alliances, new tributes, and hidden plans raise the stakes. The book builds toward a high-tension ending that leaves the larger conflict unresolved.
