About the data

This site is a discovery tool over a catalog of roughly 90,000 science-fiction and fantasy books and the “readers also enjoyed” recommendation graph between them. It makes only the claims the data supports: that one book appears in another’s recommendation list, when a book was first published, how many ratings it has, and which authors, listed series, and genres it shares with others.

It does not infer mood, tone, themes, influence, or quality, and it never asserts a series reading order.

Where the data comes from

• Ratings, genres, and the recommendation graph are aggregate facts in our catalog.

• Subjects and covers draw on Open Library where available.

When a cover image is missing or fails to load, a consistent text fallback is shown for that book. Missing years, ratings, or series are left out rather than guessed.
