Leviathan Wakes

In a future where humanity has spread through the solar system but not beyond it, an ice-hauling crew answers a distress signal and stumbles into a deadly secret. At the same time, a detective on the Belt takes a missing-person case tied to a wealthy family and a runaway young woman.

The two investigations move in parallel as Earth, Mars, the Belt, and powerful corporations circle each other with rising suspicion. Each lead points toward the same buried mystery, while violence, sabotage, and political tension make the system feel ready to explode.

As the crew and the detective are drawn closer together, the story broadens from a local case into a much larger conflict with implications for everyone in the system. The narrative keeps shifting between the two leads as their paths converge and the stakes keep rising.
