Cress

Cress, the third Lunar Chronicles book, follows a fugitive crew trying to outmaneuver a ruler’s plans while tracking down the girl who has been helping them from a satellite. Cress has lived isolated for years, using technology and hacking skills to monitor events and dream about the outside world.

A rescue goes wrong, and the group is split across separate threads of danger and survival. As characters are forced into new alliances, the story alternates among multiple viewpoints, revealing plans, loyalties, and setbacks while the stakes keep rising.

Cress’s freedom comes at a cost, and the larger conflict around the ruler’s marriage, the rebellion, and the fate of the Earth tightens around the characters. The book builds toward an intense setup for the next installment while pushing several relationships and personal arcs forward.
