More about this book

Story

Seven days after escaping the Republic, June and Day are fugitives with nowhere safe to turn. They seek help from the Patriots, a rebel group that offers shelter and a path forward, but also demands dangerous loyalty.

As they move deeper into the Patriots’ plans, they face shifting alliances, hidden agendas, and an assassination mission tied to the Republic’s new Elector. June and Day are pulled in different directions by duty, suspicion, and what they feel for each other.

The book broadens the world beyond the Republic, revealing more about the Colonies, the state of the wider world, and the history behind the conflict. Alongside the action and political intrigue, the story keeps testing who can be trusted and what the cost of revolution really is.
