More about this book

Story

Dark Age continues the Red Rising saga in a sprawling, multi-POV war narrative centered on a collapsing political order and the struggle to control its future. Darrow fights a rogue campaign, Lysander returns to the Core with his own claim to power, and Virginia works through political and criminal threats on Luna.

At the same time, Lyria is forced into an escape after being accused of treason, while Ephraim is drawn into a rescue that may offer him a path to redemption. Across these intersecting arcs, characters shift alliances, pursue survival, and face the consequences of choices made in a brutal interplanetary conflict.

The book’s narrative engine is escalation: battles, betrayals, reversals, and competing visions of order keep pushing the story toward a larger reckoning. The result is a densely layered war story where each perspective adds pressure to a broader struggle over power, loyalty, and the future of the Republic.
