The Will of the Many

Vis is living under a false identity in a world ruled by a hierarchical empire that drains the Will of those below to empower those above. When he’s pulled into the orbit of powerful figures, he’s sent to an elite academy where survival depends on secrecy, strategy, and climbing the ranks.

At the school, Vis must balance training, competitions, politics, and hidden agendas while pretending to belong. He’s also tasked with uncovering dangerous truths tied to a murder, an ancient weapon, and the wider power structure that controls the Republic.

As alliances shift and mysteries deepen, Vis keeps getting pulled between rebellion, loyalty, and his own need to resist the system that destroyed his family. The story builds toward increasingly disruptive reveals and ends with a major twist that reframes much of what came before.
