More about this book

Story

Tally has become Pretty and now lives amid luxury, parties, and social cliques in a tightly controlled future society. But her new life feels off, and a message from her past starts pulling back memories she was supposed to lose.

As Tally begins to remember what happened before her transformation, she gets drawn into risky choices, secret messages, and a search for a possible cure. She must navigate shifting loyalties, a new romance, and pressure from authorities who do not want the truth exposed.

The story moves between the seductive surface of Pretty life and the harsher realities outside it, including encounters with other communities and a growing sense that the system is more dangerous than it first appeared. Tally’s struggle becomes both personal and political as she tries to keep hold of herself long enough to act.
