The Forgotten

Jake and the Animorphs discover a crashed alien ship and decide to steal it, hoping to reveal the Yeerk invasion to the world. The plan goes badly wrong almost immediately, putting the team in danger and exposing how much Jake is already struggling under the burden of leadership.

A clash with an enemy ship tears open a rip in space-time and throws the group into the Amazon rainforest, where they face wildlife, hostile forces, and a frantic race against time. Jake keeps getting unsettling flashes that seem to show the situation before it happens, while the others try to survive the jungle and find a way back.

As the timeline closes in on itself, the story becomes a fight to prevent total annihilation. The ending resets the events so that only Jake retains the memory of what happened, leaving the group changed in perspective but not in history.
