The Visitor

After the first clash with the Yeerks, the Animorphs are still trying to understand how to fight a hidden invasion and gather useful information. The group settles on a risky reconnaissance mission aimed at a school authority figure who may lead them closer to the enemy.

Rachel takes center stage and uses her morphing power to infiltrate a family home as a cat. As she moves between human and animal perspectives, she gets closer to the truth about the Yeerks, the danger surrounding the mission, and the strain the invasion is putting on the people around her.

The investigation turns personal when Rachel reconnects with a friend whose family is deeply affected by the invasion. The mission becomes a test of loyalty, secrecy, and courage, ending with heightened danger, emotional fallout, and a stronger sense of what the war is costing ordinary families.
