More about this book

Story

A divided realm faces political collapse as noble houses maneuver for control of a fragile throne. In the north, a protective Wall and the lands beyond it hint at dangers growing in the cold, while in the south, court intrigue spreads through alliances, betrayals, and shifting loyalties.

The story follows an ensemble of characters across multiple regions and factions, with chapters rotating among different viewpoints. Their conflicts include family duty, ambition, survival, honor, and the pressure of living inside a ruthless power struggle where choices have violent consequences.

As tensions escalate, personal stories and larger political conflicts begin to collide. The narrative builds through revelations, cliffhangers, and mounting danger, with the fate of families and kingdoms increasingly tied to war, secrecy, and the struggle over who will endure when winter fully arrives.
