The Power of Six

John, Sam, and Six are on the run after a devastating confrontation, with authorities and alien pursuers closing in. As they travel and train, they try to uncover clues about their pasts, their powers, and the missing members of their group.

The narrative also follows Marina, Number Seven, in Spain, where she has been hidden away in a convent with a guardian who has lost faith in their mission. Marina begins to investigate her own developing abilities and searches for signs of the others, hoping to find a way out and rejoin the fight.

As the two storylines move forward, new allies, revelations, and dangers emerge. The characters draw closer to one another, more of the larger mystery comes into focus, and the book builds toward conflict while leaving major questions open for the next installment.
