The Story
Lauren wakes up on an alien world, separated from the people she knows and stranded far from safety. When a mishap sends her to a tropical island across the sea, she lands amid new alien clans with very different bodies and customs.
There she meets K'Thar, a protective four-armed alien who resonates with her as a fated mate. The two must bridge a language barrier, learn each other’s signals, and navigate the immediate pull of their bond while surrounded by other survivors and clan tensions.
As Lauren learns the island is not a paradise but a danger zone, she has to help warn the others before the volcano and other threats destroy the fragile new community. The romance and the survival plot move together as the island’s future hangs in the balance.
