Ice Planet Barbarians

Georgie wakes aboard an alien ship with other kidnapped human women, trapped as cargo and facing abuse from their captors. When the ship malfunctions, the women are dumped onto a frozen, hostile planet with little to survive on and no clear way home.

Trying to help the others, Georgie ventures out and encounters a towering blue alien from the native tribe. They cannot understand each other, but he recognizes her as his mate and tries to protect her while she searches for a way to save the other women.

As the stranded humans and the alien tribe begin to interact, the story follows Georgie and her mate through survival challenges, communication barriers, and rapidly developing attraction. Their relationship becomes the emotional center of a larger rescue-and-settlement setup that points into the rest of the series.
