More about this book

Story

After a family loss, Katy and her mother move to a small town in West Virginia for a fresh start. Katy is trying to settle in, build a life, and keep up with her book blog when she meets the gorgeous but hostile boy next door, Daemon, along with his warm, friendly twin sister Dee.

As Katy keeps running into Daemon, the two clash constantly, even as their tension and attraction keep growing. Strange events around the neighbors make it clear that something is off, and Katy gets pulled deeper into the secrets they are hiding. When the truth starts to surface, she realizes her new life is entangled with a dangerous hidden world.

Katy is forced to stay close to Daemon for her own safety while enemies close in and the risks escalate. The story builds around the push-pull relationship, the mystery of what the neighbors really are, and the danger that comes from being too close to a secret that powerful people want to keep hidden.
