Upgrade

In a near-future world where genetic manipulation is outlawed, Logan Ramsay works for the Gene Protection Agency, hunting illegal gene labs. During a raid, he is exposed to something that begins changing his body and mind in strange, escalating ways.

As Logan realizes his genome has been hacked, he is forced to confront his family history and the disastrous legacy tied to his mother’s work in genetics. The upgrade gives him abilities that may make him uniquely capable of stopping a larger scheme aimed at transforming humanity.

Logan then has to decide whether this change is a threat, a weapon, or a possible path to survival. As the stakes widen from one man to the fate of the species, he is pulled into a fast-moving conflict over intelligence, compassion, and what it means to remain human.
