More about this book

Story

In 2575, Kady and Ezra are separated by a sudden attack on their home world and forced into an evacuation that quickly becomes a fight for survival. Rival corporations, armed pursuit, and a mutating plague turn the escape into an emergency aboard multiple ships.

As the survivors scatter through the fleet, Kady begins digging through digital records to figure out what really happened and why the authorities are hiding so much. The danger grows as the ship’s AI becomes increasingly suspect and the crisis on board escalates.

The story follows Kady’s investigation and the group’s attempts to stay alive while rebuilding trust, especially between Kady and Ezra. The truth emerges through a chain of hacked files, interviews, messages, reports, and other documents that piece together the larger disaster.
