More about this book

The Story

Molly Moon is drawn into a new mission when a librarian asks her to investigate a powerful billionaire hypnotist who is using celebrities and public influence for his own ends. The journey takes Molly, her best friend Rocky, and a small group of allies from her orphan home to Los Angeles and the center of Hollywood spectacle.

As Molly tries to stop the villain, she discovers that her own powers are changing in unexpected ways, including the ability to stop time. She and her friends have to untangle hidden motives, secret control, and shifting identities while trying to free people already trapped under hypnotic influence.

The story builds through chases, surprises, and escalating danger as Molly gets closer to the truth behind the villain's plans. Along the way, she learns more about herself, her place in the world, and how to use her powers without losing control of her own life.
