Story

Richard Mayhew’s ordinary life in London is overturned when he stops to help an injured young woman named Door. That choice causes him to lose his place in the world and draws him into London Below, a hidden city beneath the streets where ordinary rules no longer apply.

As Richard tries to find Door and recover his old life, he crosses paths with strange allies, dangerous enemies, and a society built on bartering, secrecy, and survival. Door is on her own quest to understand what happened to her family, while relentless pursuers close in.
