More about this book

The Story

Emerson Watts is still living inside Nikki Howard’s body, trying to balance high school, modeling, and the constant risk of being exposed. As she navigates photo shoots, boys, and the emotional strain of her hidden identity, she also keeps finding signs that Stark Enterprises is hiding something much bigger.

When Nikki’s brother appears looking for their missing mother, Em gets pulled into a new search that deepens the series’ central mystery. She teams up with people from her old life, digs into secrets connected to Stark, and starts uncovering unsettling truths about the body-transplant situation and the people around her.

At the same time, Em has to deal with shifting relationships, especially the one with Christopher, who is moving closer to the truth. The book steadily layers in new information and tension until it reaches a cliffhanger that sets up the next installment.
