The Story
Em Watts is trapped living as supermodel Nikki Howard and trying to survive the fallout of secrets, lies, and fractured relationships. As she is pushed deeper into the fashion world, she also has to deal with a hostile employer, a suspicious young heir, and the pressure of keeping dangerous information from falling into the wrong hands.
When Em learns the truth about the company’s hidden project, the story turns into a race to expose corruption before more people are hurt. She has to decide whom to trust, how much to risk for the people she loves, and whether the body she inhabits can still feel like her own.
The final stretch brings kidnappings, confrontations, shifting loyalties, and a public showdown tied to a New Year’s Eve fashion event. The book resolves the central mystery while also pushing the characters toward new relationships and new identities, with the story aiming for closure rather than a cliffhanger.
