More about this book

The Story

On a Tuesday evening, frogs at a pond suddenly lift off on their lily pads and drift into a nearby town. As they travel through the night, they pass through yards and homes, startling animals and humans alike while the quiet, detailed illustrations carry the action.

The story unfolds almost entirely through images, with only sparse time markers guiding the reader from evening toward dawn. The frogs' journey becomes a sequence of encounters, chases, and small comic disruptions, while the people they pass remain puzzled by the strange events.

By morning, the frogs have returned to the pond, leaving behind only traces of what happened. The final pages hint that another Tuesday may bring another impossible sight, keeping the mystery open-ended and inviting the reader to imagine the rest.
