Mr. Wuffles!

Mr. Wuffles ignores the ordinary toys his human offers and becomes fascinated by a small metallic object that looks like a toy but contains tiny aliens. When he bats it around, the ship is damaged and the frightened aliens are forced to flee.

Outside the ship, the aliens try to survive in a strange domestic world while avoiding the cat. They hide, meet insects living in the house, and discover that the local bugs have their own ways of communicating and documenting conflict.

Using symbols, pictures, and gestures, the aliens and insects build an alliance to repair the damage and help the visitors get home. The story follows their attempts to outwit Mr. Wuffles and escape safely back to space.
