The Heir

Twenty years after a previous royal romance, Princess Eadlyn is being prepared to rule as the first female heir. Her country is still uneasy after major social reforms, and the monarchy needs a public distraction.

To help calm the unrest, Eadlyn is pushed into hosting her own Selection, this time with 35 male contenders. She resists the process, trying to keep it political and detached, while navigating court pressure, family expectations, and the scrutiny that comes with being heir.

As the competition unfolds, Eadlyn meets suitors with different personalities and begins to shift, however reluctantly, in how she sees them and herself. The story follows her selection process, her growing awareness of leadership, and the strain between duty, identity, and the possibility of love.
