His knowledge is tied to the akashic records, a storehouse of past, present, and future, and what he sees makes him a target for governments, intellectuals, believers, and anyone who wants the advantage of tomorrow.

The story moves through 2020, forward into the future, and then back through other periods as different lives and interests intersect around محمود. A psychiatrist frames much of what unfolds from within a clinic, while other threads follow political, scientific, and personal pressures connected to the dangerous promise of knowing too much.

As the strands converge, the novel keeps returning to the cost of truth, the pressure of power, and the fear of what happens when knowledge cannot be unlearned. The ending brings the narrative back to محمود’s ruin, leaving the larger question hanging: whether humanity is prepared for the truth it keeps chasing.
