The Story
Joanne Baldwin has left the powerful Weather Wardens and is trying to live a normal life in Florida. Instead, she is stuck in a humiliating television weather-girl job, losing her powers, and trying to keep her dangerously weakened Djinn lover alive.
As Joanne struggles with her sister moving in, a suspicious detective circling an old death, and a manipulative new man entering the picture, the supernatural world around her grows more unstable. Djinn factions split, Wardens blame Joanne, and violence builds toward open conflict.
While an enormous storm closes in, Joanne is pulled into escalating threats from human and supernatural sides alike. She has to navigate betrayal, dwindling power, and impossible choices as the situation pushes everything toward a major turning point and a cliffhanger ending.
