Story
Drey survives a mysterious mass death that leaves Earth nearly empty, and she endures years of isolation while trying to make sense of what happened. Her survival turns out to be connected to a larger secret about the catastrophe and to the fact that she is not entirely alone.
As Drey moves through abandoned places and follows clues left behind in a diary, she stumbles into a hidden underground world where other survivors have built a new society. There, she is pulled into conflicts between factions, secrets around the gas that killed millions, and questions about why she is immune.
The story follows Drey as she tries to understand the project behind the disaster, decide who to trust, and survive the pressures of a world that keeps revealing new dangers. The narrative builds toward a highly uncertain ending that leaves major questions unresolved and points toward continuation.
