Storm Echo

Ivan Mercant has spent his life controlling a dangerous psychic force he believes could destroy him and anyone close to him. During a wilderness training encounter, he meets Soleil, a vibrant changeling healer who briefly brings warmth into his isolated world before tragedy separates them.

When Ivan later finds Soleil again, she no longer remembers him, and she is driven by grief and revenge after the destruction of her pack. Her animal side recognizes Ivan even when her human mind cannot, creating a fraught reunion as the two are drawn back toward each other.

As their bond deepens, the larger psychic crisis around the PsyNet intensifies. Ivan’s unusual abilities and Soleil’s healing instincts become tied to the fate of their world, while long-running series threats, family ties, and buried truths move toward major revelations.
