The Story
Vee, a shy high schooler who usually stays behind the scenes, decides to try an anonymous online dare game called NERVE after feeling overlooked and tempted by prizes. Her first challenges draw attention, and the game keeps escalating as watchers cheer her on and the offers get more irresistible.
As Vee continues, she is paired with Ian, another player, and the dares become more personal, more public, and more risky. The game seems to know what the players want, using social-media clues, pressure, and temptation to keep them competing.
What starts as embarrassing online stunts turns into a much more dangerous contest as Vee and Ian are pushed toward a final round with everything at stake. The story builds toward a high-pressure climax where the game’s hidden forces and consequences become impossible to ignore.
