More about this book

Story

Twelve-year-old Jack Sawyer learns that his dying mother may be saved only by finding the mysterious Talisman. To reach it, he must travel across the United States while learning to flip between his world and the parallel Territories, where alternate versions of people and places exist.

As Jack moves west, he encounters allies, enemies, and a series of dangerous trials that test his courage, loyalty, and endurance. His journey becomes both a rescue mission and a coming-of-age ordeal, with friendships and betrayals shaping what he learns about himself and the worlds around him.

The story builds through repeated crossings between realities, escalating conflicts between good and evil, and a final push toward the place where the Talisman is hidden. Along the way, Jack’s quest expands beyond one life into a struggle that touches both worlds.
