Joshua Dread

Joshua Dread is trying to survive middle school while keeping a huge family secret: his parents are infamous supervillains. As school troubles pile up and strange powers start showing up in Joshua’s life, a new girl at school, Sophie, seems to understand more than she should.

When villains begin disappearing and Joshua’s parents may be next, he is forced to team up with Sophie and his best friend Milton. Their search pulls them into a bigger conflict involving heroes, villains, secret identities, and the question of what kind of person Joshua wants to become.

Along the way, Joshua has to deal with school bullying, uneasy friendships, and the pressure of living between two worlds. The story follows his growing powers and the dangers that come with them as he tries to protect his family and figure out where he belongs.
