Into the Mist

A group of teachers traveling home from a conference witnesses bombs, earthquakes, and a strange green mist that ravages the country. The mist kills many men outright and leaves some women transformed with unusual powers.

Cut off from the world they knew, the survivors travel through a broken Oregon landscape seeking safety, answers, and a place to regroup. As they encounter dangerous people and shifting loyalties, they also learn what their new abilities might mean.

The story follows this ensemble as they try to stay alive, protect one another, and decide what kind of future they want to build. The novel ends with unresolved questions and clear setup for the next installment.
