Panacea

Medical examiner Laura Fanning investigates two burned corpses that seem impossible: the bodies are oddly healthy, marked with the same tattoo, and linked to a string of miracle cures. Her search pulls her toward a hidden panacea, a cure-all substance that may be real and may be tied to a larger secret history.

A terminally ill billionaire hires Laura to help track down the cure, and she is paired with Rick Hayden, a mysterious bodyguard with secrets of his own. As Laura and Rick travel across multiple countries following clues, they are hunted by a fanatical secret order and drawn into a conflict over whether the panacea should exist at all.

The investigation becomes a race against time filled with conspiracies, shifting loyalties, and unsettling hints of supernatural or cosmic forces. Laura has to decide whom to trust as the danger escalates and the search for the panacea reveals a much larger struggle than a single medical miracle.
