Against All Things Ending

Linden Avery tries to recover her adopted son by bringing Thomas Covenant back from death, but the act unleashes catastrophic consequences for the Land. Covenant returns fractured and weakened, while Linden and her companions face a world-spanning crisis that grows more urgent with every choice they make.

As the company searches for Jeremiah and navigates hostile powers, the story follows their arguments, alliances, setbacks, and dangerous journeys through the Land. Much of the conflict is internal as well as external: Linden wrestles with guilt and self-doubt, Covenant struggles with memory and mortality, and others must decide whether to trust, help, or resist them.

The narrative builds toward escalating confrontations, major losses, and revelations about the Land’s deepest threats. The stakes expand from personal rescue to the fate of reality itself, with the characters forced into increasingly costly decisions as the series moves toward its final resolution.
