Blue Owens wakes up feeling wrong, with gaps in her memory and clues that point her toward a mysterious bus and a boy she can’t place. As she follows the trail, she learns she voluntarily underwent a procedure to erase specific memories, including memories tied to Adam.

Trying to understand why she made that choice, Blue goes back through the pieces of her past. The story moves from her present-day confusion into gradually revealed flashbacks, showing the relationships, losses, and emotional pressure that led to the memory removal.
