Cold the Night, Fast the Wolves

Seventeen-year-old Sena survives on a frozen, hostile planet by stealing and keeping to herself after the race that killed her mothers. When she angers a powerful gangster, she is forced into a bargain that puts her back in the orbit of the sled race she despises.

To buy her freedom, Sena teams with scientists and is tied to an injured fighting wolf named Iska. As they prepare for and enter the dangerous race, Sena must use her survival skills across a world of storms, predators, and human threats while learning to trust others again.

The journey becomes both a physical struggle and an emotional one as Sena and Iska form a bond and a makeshift family around them. With corporate greed, violence, and the planet itself closing in, Sena has to decide what survival, loyalty, and escape really mean.
