More about this book

The Story

Set in present-day Los Angeles, the story follows a sprawling conspiracy that links a missing-person case to a long-hidden alien plan embedded in human DNA. As strange deaths, mutations, and outbreaks spread, ordinary people begin changing in ways that reshape power on Earth.

The narrative moves through many characters and viewpoints: a damaged investigator, elite families, conspirators, resistant outsiders, and people caught in the widening fallout. The plot grows from noir mystery into a larger apocalyptic struggle involving secret societies, genetic activation, and competing forces trying to control or stop the transformation.

As the takeover escalates, the story becomes a battle over humanity, survival, and who gets to shape the future. The ending resolves the crisis in a way that some readers found satisfying and others found messy, rushed, or anticlimactic.
