Endurance

After rebellion tears apart the underground enclave, Thimble and Stone are forced to flee with Stone’s child while the community around them collapses. They must survive attacks from Freaks and navigate the tunnels without the status or training their society assigned them.

As they travel, the pair are pushed to rely on skills their world dismissed: Thimble’s intelligence and toolmaking, Stone’s protectiveness and growing ability to fight. Their escape becomes both a survival test and a break from the rigid social roles that governed their lives.

Away from the enclave, they encounter signs of a wider world and the possibility of safety. At the same time, the attraction between them, long restrained by rules, finally comes into the open as they look toward an uncertain future.
