A new political movement gains momentum, drawing Rho into travel across multiple Houses and planets. As she moves from place to place with allies and rivals, she investigates the movement, the shifting power structure, and the secrets buried in the Zodiac world, all while navigating complicated loyalties and romantic uncertainty.

What she uncovers changes her understanding of the people around her and the world she lives in. The story builds toward major reveals about power, identity, and the larger forces shaping the galaxy, ending on an abrupt cliffhanger that pushes the series toward its next installment.
