The Story

Ten years after the army reports his son dead, Tom still doubts the official story. A pub conversation hints that something far stranger happened on Salisbury Plain, pushing him to investigate the sealed burial site himself.

When Tom digs into the hidden grave, he finds a living little girl instead of his son's remains, along with signs of a secret military experiment. The discovery pulls him into a dangerous conflict involving soldiers, cover-ups, and creatures that may be vampires, zombies, werewolves, or something else entirely.

As Tom and the girl flee, the story becomes a tense pursuit in which loyalties blur and motives are questioned. The chase forces Tom to confront grief, violence, and the possibility that the real enemy is not easy to name.
