The Story

Laura and her cousin Rose are teenage daughters of renowned Dreamhunters in a world where a hidden place called the Place lets a few people catch dreams and bring them back for others to experience. As they approach their test to see whether they can enter the Place themselves, the dream-harvesting world around them begins to shift.

When Laura’s father disappears, the girls are pulled into a larger mystery involving the origin of the Place, the uses of dreams, and the people controlling them. Their search exposes political manipulation, family tensions, and dangerous secrets tied to dreams that can heal, entertain, or harm.

As Laura and Rose move deeper into the mystery, they confront changing loyalties, growing danger, and the end of childhood. The book builds toward a major turning point while leaving key questions unresolved for the next installment.
