The Rising Storm

Alice survives catastrophic storms that ravage London and is rescued into an underground survival community run by Paradigm Industries. As she helps shape a new way of life, she faces hard choices about what the future should keep and what it should erase.

Decades later, Carter wakes from cryonic sleep into that future society and expects to rise within its ranks. Instead, he discovers harsher control, hidden truths, and signs of unrest that make him question the world he has been taught to serve.

The narrative moves between Alice’s origins of the new order and Carter’s struggle inside it, gradually revealing how the two eras connect. Both characters are pushed toward sacrifices, loyalty tests, and difficult decisions about leadership, control, and the kind of world worth preserving.
