More about this book

The Story

After a catastrophic earthquake cracks time itself, Japan is divided into dangerous zones where time moves faster, slower, or differently than normal. Sora grows up carrying the loss left by the disaster, especially the disappearance of her mother, while also living with a father who studies the altered zones.

Sora becomes drawn deeper into the fractured landscapes, helping with exploration while also searching for answers of her own. As she moves through these liminal spaces, memories, grief, and reality itself begin to blur, and the mystery of what happened during the earthquake keeps expanding.

When her father goes missing too, Sora is forced to push further into the unknown. Her journey becomes both a search mission and an inward struggle with memory, belonging, identity, and the possibility that time has hidden the people she loves rather than taken them away forever.
