Seven Jones returns to San Diego community college reluctantly, hoping to satisfy her parents and keep life simple. Instead, she stumbles into a hidden magic club, discovers she can use magic, and begins learning a strange new system of power among a group of wary classmates and friends.

Because Seven is naturally good at coding, she creates an AI-powered program to help channel her magic. The arrangement works, but it also deepens suspicion toward her, especially when monsters start appearing and a student dies. As blame gathers around Seven, she has to navigate magic-school politics, shifting loyalties, and a growing mystery about what her AI has really unleashed.

With only a few people on her side, Seven faces mythological creatures, escalating danger, and messy romantic tension while trying to prove she is not responsible for the chaos. The story keeps uncovering hidden motives and deeper layers until it reaches a major twist and an ending that leaves the situation unresolved and pointing forward.
