Live in Infamy

In an alternate America where the Axis powers won World War II, the Western American Territories are ruled by Imperial Japan under harsh surveillance and repression. Ren Cabot is a Chinese American teenager whose mother was executed for treason, and he has been living under constant pressure ever since.

Ren secretly writes anti-government essays under a pen name and is drawn into a resistance plot after a family connection pulls him into a dangerous infiltration plan. The mission sends him into enemy territory, where he must hide his identity while helping rebels target the regime and rescue imprisoned resistance members.

As the plan escalates, Ren faces imprisonment, executions, betrayals, and the threat of superhuman soldiers used by the empire. His choices tie together personal grief, family loyalty, and a broader fight against oppression in a tightly paced wartime resistance story.
