Hyperversum

A group of young friends gathers around an online medieval videogame, where their interests in history, roleplay, and adventure overlap. During the session, something goes wrong and the game world stops being only a game.

They wake up in 13th-century France and must adapt quickly to the realities of feudal life, political conflict, and the dangers of a country at war. Knowledge of history, quick thinking, and trust between friends become essential as they try to survive the period and understand what happened to them.

As the story unfolds, the group becomes more deeply entangled in local events, alliances, and personal bonds. The narrative builds toward major battles and romantic tensions while leaving the larger arc unresolved, setting up the next installment in the series.
