More about this book

The Story

Mika and Ellie are twins growing up in a harsh future city sealed behind a massive wall after an animal plague. Ellie has vanished, and everyone else believes she is dead, but Mika refuses to accept that story.

When a new government-backed competition and virtual game system opens to children, Mika sees a chance to uncover the truth about Ellie. As he advances, he is pulled deeper into a controlled society shaped by secrets, surveillance, class divisions, and strange powers.

The search brings Mika into contact with allies and enemies, including adults who may be hiding the truth and forces using children for unknown purposes. As the mystery expands, the twins’ connection, the world beyond the wall, and the real purpose of the game become increasingly important.
