More about this book

The Story

Astra and her family are traveling through space to a new planet, where they plan to begin a new life after a very long journey in suspended sleep. Before she goes under, Astra asks the ship’s food machine for the most amazing cake ever, setting off an unexpected chain of trouble.

When Astra wakes early, the ship is off course and overrun by dangerous cakes, odd aliens, and other mishaps. With help from her robot friend and a few unlikely allies, she has to figure out what went wrong and keep the ship from being destroyed.

The story moves through a series of escalating comic adventures as Astra explores the ship, meets strange beings, and tries to restore order. It ends with the crisis resolved and the voyage back on track, with new friendships and a safer future ahead.
