Hello, Nebulon!

Zack and his family leave Earth for the planet Nebulon because his father has a new job. Zack is anxious about losing the familiar, leaving friends and a pet behind, and starting over in a place he imagines as weird and frightening.

When the family arrives, Zack discovers a home full of futuristic conveniences and a school with unfamiliar customs, strange food, and alien classmates. He still misses Earth, but he begins learning the rules of Nebulon and meeting people who help him feel less alone.

A friendly classmate becomes an important connection as Zack starts to settle in and see that Nebulon is not as awful as he feared. The book follows his early adjustment and ends with the sense that this new life may hold more surprises ahead.
