More about this book

The Story

After the first wave of alien plants is partly contained, a new rain brings something worse: eggs that hatch into giant, deadly creatures. Seth, Anaya, and Petra soon find that their unusual immunity has brought them to the attention of the government.

Taken to a hidden lab or bunker with other teens like themselves, they discover their bodies and abilities are changing in ways they barely understand. As the adults test them, the group fractures into factions, and the kids must decide who to trust among humans, authorities, and the aliens themselves.

Meanwhile, the invasion outside keeps escalating, and the threat is no longer limited to plants. The teens begin to learn more about what they are, what the aliens want, and whether their differences make them weapons, victims, or something in between. The story builds toward a major confrontation and ends on a cliffhanger.
